Code of Ethics

Purpose and Scope

The purpose of this Code of Ethics is to provide ethical guidance for confusing or controversial situations. This document explains how Quantidal Consulting (“Quantidal”)’s ethical standards and core values should inform business decisions made within or on behalf of the company. Quantidal’s Code of Ethics applies to employees at every level. In addition, to uphold our ethical standards, we will hold all vendors, contractors, suppliers, interns, temporary workers and volunteers to these guidelines as well.

Our Ethical Standards

At Quantidal, we operate around five core values:

Client Capability over Dependency

We prioritise building client understanding and internal capability over creating long-term dependency. Ethical consulting leaves organisations stronger, not reliant.

Independence

We maintain independence from specific technologies, vendors, and implementation partners. Our advice is shaped by risk, evidence, and organisational context, not commercial incentives.

Honesty About Uncertainty

We are transparent about uncertainty, limitations, and trade-offs in AI systems and governance decisions. Where risks cannot be eliminated, we make them visible and manageable.

Social Responsibility

As advisors, we have a responsibility beyond compliance. We encourage AI governance practices that support fair outcomes, protect trust, and enable sustainable innovation across organisations and the communities they serve.

Obedience to Law

We operate in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and recognised professional standards, and support our clients in navigating regulatory obligations responsibly.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

We treat confidentiality as fundamental to our work. Client information and personal data are handled with care and protected in line with applicable data protection laws, including UK GDPR and EU GDPR. Information is disclosed only with consent or where legally required. For more information, see our .[1]

Conflicts of Interest

We actively avoid conflicts of interest that could compromise independence or objectivity. Where a potential conflict arises, it will be disclosed promptly and managed transparently, or the engagement will be declined.

Professional Competence and Scope

We undertake work only where we have the appropriate expertise and experience. Where client needs extend beyond our scope, we are transparent and, where appropriate, recommend additional or alternative expertise.

Accountability and Continuous Improvement

We take responsibility for the quality and integrity of our advice. We welcome feedback, reflect on lessons learned, and continuously improve our methods and approach.

Commitment

This Code of Ethics reflects Quantidal’s commitment to responsible, risk-aware, and outcome-focused AI governance. It guides how we work, how we advise, and how we build trust with our clients.
